Under the on-going expansion of digitalization and the use of cyber space, cyber security has become a prominent challenge for each state’s security. This symposium will address what role social media and psychological and political narratives have played in a so-called hybrid warfare (combination of conventional and non-conventional warfare) in the Middle East and Eurasia. We have the following two specialists from the UK and Azerbaijan in addition to five Japanese panelists to discuss the future of security studies in the age of hybrid warfare.
